Mangroves are special ecosystems of high fragility, located in subtropical and tropical territories of the planet, unique areas due to high human pressure, and ecosystems that are usually located in areas with a certain population density. And precisely this population has a small per capita income, which in many cases forces them to use mangrove species as an energy resource, which is favored by a lack of knowledge, so it is necessary to promote their knowledge in all educational centers. The valuation of these ecosystems should not only be done by citizens but also by public and private institutions since these ecosystems are habitats of global interest, and therefore the various regulations on conservation should be respected. Consequently, it would be necessary to increase the culture of citizenship, strengthen ecosystem services and, involve more institutional bodies, and avoid degradation due to indiscriminate use by the population. As mangroves are generally located in areas that are hot spots on Earth, due to their richness in botanical and faunal species, it is necessary to carry out ecodevelopment or sustainable development.
