Radu Darciuc

In 2004 I graduated „Nicolae Testemitanu” State University of Medicine and Pharmacy of the Republic of Moldova. In 2007 graduated the residency training in Internal Disease at the same university and in 2009 the cardiology training. From 2009 till 2012 I was an assistant professor at Cardiology Department, led by profesor Valeriu Revenco, at „Nicolae Testemitanu” State University of Medicine and Pharmacy of the Republic of Moldova. I was passionate by the electrophysiology field for years but with the help of my colleague Rajin Choudhury, from the early 2014 my interest was definitely caught by the that field and I started additional trainings in various centers from Belgium, Turkey, Slovakia and Hungary. From 2013 I am working in Medpark International Hospital in Chisinau, Republic of Moldova. From 2015 we started the ablation program in Medpark International Hospital, led by professor Erdem Diker from Ankara, Turkey. During years, we also collaborated with very experienced professors as Basri Amasyalı, Alper Canbay and Osman Can Yontar. At the moment, together with my colleague Irina Boiciuc, we perform implantation of the pacemakers, ICDs, CRTDs and also lead extractions in our center. From 2018 perform cryoballoon ablation of the atrial fibrillation and from 2024 do complex procedures with 3D mapping.
