Dr. Rameswar Pal is an Assistant Professor of Human Physiology at Morarji Desai National Institute of Yoga, Ministry of Ayush, Government of India. He was awarded a Ph.D. in Life Sciences from Bharathiar University, India. He completed his Ph.D. thesis work at the Defence Institute of Physiology & Allied Sciences (DIPAS), Defence Research & Development Organisation (DRDO), Ministry of Defence, Government of India. He is a life member of the Association of Physiologists and Pharmacologists of India (APPI), the Physiological Society of India (PSI), and the Indian Science Congress Association (ISCA). He has published a book chapter and many full papers. He has also published several abstracts in conference proceedings and delivered many lectures. He has been awarded a travel grant to attend the 1st Tehran IBRO/APRC Associate School of Cognitive Neurosciences on Functional Human Brain Mapping in Tehran, Iran, in 2015. He was also awarded "The Sushila Thaker Prakriti Mandir Prize" for research investigation in Natural Health, Naturopathy, and Yoga by the APPI at APPICON 2015.
