Professor Rodolfo Martínez-Gutierrez is a Doctor in Global Development Studies, at the Tecnológico Nacional de México (TecNM), Campus Tijuana. His main areas of research in business management are supply chains, social innovation, sustainable development and sectoral competitiveness. He has published more than one hundred research papers published in various prestigious international journals and events. He is also the principal investigator of research projects at the national and international level. He also has several book chapters and scientific research product book organizers. He is President of the Postgraduate Council in Administration, Responsible for the Specialized Talent Development area and monitoring of the Sustainable Development Observatory of the SDGs at the Research and Innovation Center of the Technological Institute of Tijuana. He is responsible for coordinating the instrumentalization for the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the UN 2030 Agenda in the TecNM at the national level. Promoter of the QHS Methodology, NODESS Tijuana Program, National Leader of the Social and Solidarity Economy Research Network (RIESS Network), Leader of the ITTIJ-CA-12 Academic Body, with lines of research in Sectoral Competitiveness, Social Innovation and Sustainable Development, he is a Member of the National System of Researchers of the Government of Mexico (SNI-CONAHCYT Level 2).
