Haisheng Yang
Haisheng Yang, Ph.D., Professor and Director of the Department of Biomedical Engineering, College of Life Science and Bioengineering, Beijing University of Technology. He received his Ph.D. degree in Mechanics/Biomechanics from the Harbin Institute of Technology (jointly with the University of California, Berkeley). Afterward, he worked as a Postdoctoral Research Associate in the Purdue Musculoskeletal Biology and Mechanics Lab at the Department of Basic Medical Sciences, Purdue University, USA. He also conducted research in the Research Centre of Shriners Hospitals for Children-Canada at McGill University, Canada. Dr. Yang has over 10 years of research experience in orthopedic biomechanics and mechanobiology of bone adaptation and regeneration. He earned an award from the Beijing Overseas Talents Aggregation program in 2017 and served as Beijing Distinguished Professor.
