Piero Bevilacqua

Piero Bevilacqua is a researcher at the Department of Mechanical, Energy and Management Engineering, University of Calabria, Italy. He received his Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering in 2014. He has co-authored several journal papers and two book chapters. He has actively participated in numerous research projects in energy efficiency. His main areas of interest include passive systems for the building envelope, green roofs, innovative photovoltaic systems, thermal comfort of indoor spaces and Indoor Environmental Quality (IEQ), nearly zero-emission building (NZEB) in the Mediterranean, innovative solar-assisted air-conditioning plants, integrated thermal storage systems, solar cooling, thermal properties of building materials, and renewable cogeneration systems.
