About the book

The Sports paradigm continues to evolve during the search for sporting and athletic excellence and healthy lifestyles. Advances in research and technology bring new tools and insights to the discussion that have revolutionized the way resistance training is approached and understood. With this book, we invite everyone to explore a world of exciting discoveries, innovative strategies, and transformative perspectives on resistance training. From the traditional principles of resistance training to unexplored territory, where new techniques, theories, and technology guide the evolution of physical training. From advanced periodization to molecular biology, from longevity to advanced performance monitoring, and from new technologies to the specificity of training in different populations, this book will explore in detail topics that are redefining the concepts and approaches to resistance training. Works that present innovative approaches and practical recommendations for all types of populations and competitive levels are highly recommended.
