Arien Jean Lopez
A young fisheries professional currently serving as Administrative Assistant II at the Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (BFAR) Regional Field Office XI, within the Planning, Monitoring, and Evaluation Unit. She has also contributed as a Project Assistant in the Sustainable Agriculture and Fisheries Enterprise Project at the Southern Philippines Agribusiness and Marine and Aquatic School of Technology (SPAMAST). She graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Fisheries from SPAMAST and was a recipient of the full scholarship from the Fisheries Scholarship Program of BFAR. She is an advocate of sustainable fisheries management and a mangrove enthusiast, actively involved in research, development, and extension (RDE) since her college years.
