Eric Y. Yang

Dr. Eric Yang attended the Feinberg School of Medicine at Northwestern University and subsequently completed residency training in Internal Medicine through the Medical Resident Investigator Track at the Baylor College of Medicine. He then went on to complete clinical fellowships in Cardiovascular Diseases at the Baylor College of Medicine and in Advanced Cardiovascular Imaging at Houston Methodist. During his time at the Baylor College of Medicine, he also completed a doctoral degree in Clinical Investigation through the Clinical Scientist Training Program and received Postdoctoral Fellowship Grant Awards from the American Heart Association. He served as faculty in the Houston Methodist DeBakey Heart & Vascular Center before joining the Cardiology Division at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. His areas of interests include cardiovascular CT/MRI, valvular heart disease, cardiac remodeling and recovery, vascular function, and cardiovascular risk assessment and prevention.
