Anwarul Hasan
Dr. Anwarul Hasan, Associate Professor of Mechanical and Industrial Engineering at Qatar University, focuses his research on advanced biomaterials and tissue engineering for cardiovascular diseases, diabetic wound healing, and cancer. Previously, he was an assistant professor at Qatar University and the American University of Beirut, Lebanon. He was also a visiting professor at Harvard Medical School and Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), USA. Dr. Hasan holds a Ph.D. from the University of Alberta, Canada, where he also worked in research and technology roles. With more than 250 peer-reviewed papers, including 215 journal articles and 35 conference proceedings to his credit, Dr. Hasan has received numerous awards and served on various university committees, demonstrating his commitment to academia and research excellence.
