Audra Williams

Research Assistant, The UWI School of Nursing, Mona

Audra T. Williams is an author and researcher with a passion for youth and their success. She completed her Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology at the University of the West Indies, Mona campus. Her interest in children and the family led her to successfully applying for a Commonwealth Scholarship to pursue a Master of Science degree in Family and Child Psychology at the University of Chester. Her current position as research assistant at the University of the West Indies, Mona, has facilitated the expansion of her research interests to include adolescent females and their families. For the past 5 years she has reviewed abstracts submitted for the annual Nursing and Midwifery Research Conference hosted by the UWI School of Nursing, Mona. She has published several papers and abstracts, in both quantitative and qualitative research. She also assists in teaching undergraduate research courses for second, third and fourth year students.
