Romans Uljanovs
Romans Uljanovs, MD, is a dedicated physician who actively translates his excellent clinical experience into research and medical education, earning the well-deserved respect of colleagues and students. His classes represent attractive, student-centered teaching, simultaneously improving the medical knowledge and logical thinking of attendees. Doctor Uljanovs has developed his scientific experience in two large-scale projects at international and national levels. Notably, he has supervised a team of young teachers to develop gamification as an innovative learning solution in pathology education. Dr. Uljanovs is actively publishing his research in peer-reviewed journals, including Cells and the International Journal of Molecular Pathology. His main research interests are diagnostic issues and pathogenetic studies, as well as innovations in digital pathology, including game-based approaches in medical teaching.
