Ishaq Yusuf
Ishaq YUSUF, Ph.D. (M), a Senior Lecturer, team member, NNPC Chair Professor, Basinal Studies, IBBUL, and Postgraduate coordinator at the Department of Geology and Mining, IBB University, Lapai, Niger State, obtained B.Sc. Geology (1999) at University of Maiduguri, Borno State, M.Tech in Applied Geophysics (2010), FUT, Minna and Ph.D. (2020), Petroleum Geosciences at the Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS, Malaysia. He has about seventeen (12) years of working experience in teaching in Nigeria and Malaysia, research, underground and post-graduate M.Sc. co-supervision. Dr. Yusuf had a year post-doctoral research scientist at the Institute of Hydrocarbon Recovery, UTP, Malaysia (2019 -2020). He teaches both undergraduate and graduates courses with a strong research interest in basin analysis; aeromagnetic and gravity field potentials, petrophysics, and reservoir characterization/heterogeneities. Married with three children
