Hary Razafindralambo

Hary L. Razafindralambo is first the head of the e-Lab for Multidisciplinary Science and Technology Abreast in Belgium. He received a Ph.D. in agronomic sciences and biological engineering (1996) and a master’s degree in chemistry and bio-industries (1990) from Gembloux Agricultural University in Belgium. His research, teaching expertise, and interests are the physical chemistry of biological and food systems, focusing on colloid and interface sciences, synergism, and intra- and inter-molecular and/or particular interactions among functional bioagent systems, including bioactive compounds, beneficial microorganisms, and more. He is the (co)-author of more than 110 scientific outputs, including original research and review papers, book chapters, and patents, and he recently assumed the role of editor for the book titled "Trends in Probiotic Applications" and guest editor of the Special Issue "Probiotics and their Metabolites" for Biomolecules. His leadership extends to national, European, and international research initiatives at Gembloux Agro-Bio Tech of the Liege University in Belgium, where he spearheads projects related to the design, characterization, formulation, and applications of synbiotics and their components, and continues to play a pivotal role in advancing scientific knowledge and application in his field, while (co)-supervising master and Ph.D. thesis candidates.
