Daniel Tudor Cotfas
Daniel Tudor Cotfas is a full professor in the Electronics and Computers Department, Transilvania University of Brasov, Romania. He received a BS and MS in Mathematics and Physics from the same university, in 1995 and 2001, respectively. He obtained a Ph.D. in 2008 and a Habilitation in Electronic Engineering, Telecommunications, and Information Technology in 2019. He is the author of 11 books and book chapters and more than 100 articles. He is an associate editor of the International Journal of Photoenergy and Frontiers in Energy Research and a guest editor for several other journals. He also holds one patent. His current research interests include renewable energy, energy harvesting, hybrid systems for photovoltaics, optoelectronics, virtual instrumentation, and remote engineering.
