Sagar S. Bhat

Dr Sagar S Bhat has completed his Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) at the age of 23 years from The Oxford Dental College and Hospital, Bengaluru, Karnataka, India and currently pursuing his Postdoctoral degree or Master of Dental Surgery(MDS) in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopaedics speciality at Department of Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopaedics, S D M College of Dental Sciences and Hospital, Dharwad - 580009, Karnataka, India . He is the student member of Indian Dental Association (IDA) and Indian Orthodontic Society(IOS) and Official Student Clinician at of THE INTERNATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF STUDENT CLINICIANS - AMERICAN DENTAL ASSOCIATION(ADA). He is currently the student member of AMERICAN ASSOCIATION OF ORTHODONTISTS (AAO) and WORLD FEDERATION OF ORTHODONTISTS (WFO). He has published more than 15 papers in reputed International and National journals and has been serving as Karnataka State Scientific Officer and Scientific Director, Indian Association of Dental Students( IADS), Karnataka Chapter. Officially designated as Research Fellow in the Department of Research and in Craniofacial Surgery Department at Mazumdar Shaw Medical Centre, (Narayana Health) NH City, Bengaluru, Karnataka, India. He has won several International and National awards for his Recognition of All – Round Excellence in Dentistry namely “IARDO Awards for Outstanding Contribution in Dental Sciences - 2018\", “Charaka Award” at International Exemplary Research and Performance Awards 2018, Pierre Fauchard Academy International Senior Student Award –2017 in Recognition of All – Round Excellence in Dentistry by Pierre Fauchard Academy, India Section, FAMDENT EXCELLENCE IN DENTISTRY AWARD – 2017 (National Award) under Student of the Year Category and Indian Dental Talent of the year in 2016, “BEST OUTGOING STUDENT” for the year 2017 from The Oxford Dental College, Hospital, Bengaluru, Karnataka, India, India Dental Awards - 2017, IACDE NATIONAL YOUNG ACHIEVER AWARD – 2016 and many more.
