Ahmed Albahnasawi
Dr. Ahmed Albahnasawi is a Researcher and lecturer in the Environmental Engineering Department, Gebze Technical University, Turkey. His graduate work focused on investigating the treatability of sequential anoxic-aerobic batch reactors followed by a ceramic membrane for textile wastewater treatment. Based on his research, Dr. Albahnasawi published more than 25 journal articles and participated in more than 35 international conferences. His current research interests are the application and design of microbial fuel cells integrated with Fenton oxidation for industrial wastewater treatment/solid waste management and monitoring of organic micropollutants by both chromatographic and spectrophotometric analyses, desalination by renewable energy, green technology for water and wastewater remediation, fate of organic micropollutants in environment systems, Soil and Groundwater remediation technologies, and supercritical oxidation/extraction technologies.
