Helio Ribeiro
PhD in Chemistry at Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais (UFMG) - Brazil. Ribeiro completed his postdoctoral studies at Nanomaterials & Nanoengineering Laboratory (Rice University-Texas-USA). He has experience in nanomaterials surface modification and nanocomposites applied in different technological sectores. He also participated as DTI fellow in the accreditation process at the Laboratório de Química de Nanoestruturas-(CDTN), Belo Horizonte-Brazil, by CNPq where applied the ABNT NBR ISO/IEC 17025-2005 standards for FTIR and UV-VIS-NIR spectroscopies. Ribeiro is professor at Universidade Presbiteriana Mackenzie, SP- Brazil and referee of several scientific journals, such as : American Chemical Society (ACS) Applied Nano Materials, ACS Applied Materials & Interfaces, Carbon, Chemical Communications, Surfaces and Interfaces, among others. Professor Ribeiro was also visiting professor at the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV), at Department of Engineering and Computer Science, by the Institutional Internationalization Program - CAPES - PrInt. (Brazil).
