Dr Hong ZHAO is a senior specialist in energy transformation, with a primary focus on renewable energy generation and storage technologies, foremost of which are Lithium-ion Batteries, Hydrogen Fuel Cells, and solar cells. She also exercises technical leadership in green hydrogen production and hydrogen storage technology, helping to break new ground to address social, ethical, and environmental worldwide concerns. Equipped with 20 years of experience and a doctorate in Chemical Engineering and Technology from the Harbin Institute of Technology (whose Engineering subject is ranked globally among the top 5), she has conducted research, led projects, developed and transferred knowledge on sustainable materials and technologies, gaining energy sector prominence in the academe, business and government sectors.
